I bought this on import as soon as it came out. My sleeve was cream. I went to the official OMD website and this is the definitive word on the sleeve colorations: >>Originally released in a yellow sleeve, the album was subsequently released in pale blue sleeve and a pale grey sleeve.<< They are referring to the LP issues I believe since the initial CD release was a pale green color, as well. The modern CD remaster reverts to cream. The US edition was cream but the layout lacked the diecut and was horrifically revised to feature one of the inner sleeve photos blown up to fill the entire front cover. Gaaaahh! See here: http://www.versioncrazy.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/sq-4240-usa-am.jpg for the damning evidence!

The original release was a pale grey. I think that it may have been that colour in the UK and the yellow was international, but I'm not certain of that.
