Notes This record was released on Ornette Coleman’s short-lived Artists House label which also produced Ornette’s Body Meta and Soapsuds, Soapsuds. It’s a rare example of Ornette guesting on someone else’s album. The cartoons reveal an affinity with Parliament/Funkadelic, but also illustrate the influence of UK punk in the guitar-wielding figure on the inner sleeve, blaxploitation, outsider and African art. Captain Black soars away from all the mayhem, beautiful companion on his arm, towards the calm of a future world.

  1. Aw, this was a very good post. Finding the time and actual effort to produce a superb article… but what can I say… I put things
off a lot and don’t seem to get nearly anything done.

  2. Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this website.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s difficult to get that “perfect balance” between usability and appearance.
I must say you have done a amazing job with this.
In addition, the blog loads very fast for me on Internet explorer.
    Excellent Blog!

  7. Great blog! Do you have any recommendations for
aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own blog soon but I’m
a little lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid
option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally confused ..
    Any suggestions? Many thanks!
