I believe Autechre designed this sleeve themselves, I recall one of them talking about it in an interview, saying something along the lines of “that cover was just stuff we were into making at that point”… When I find the reference I’ll post the proper quote.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Sean & Rob generated the line images.
The design is TDR though along with most of the other AE releases, isn’t it?
Also, my CD case isn’t frosted. Very jealous.
Always liked this packaging, because the lines on it are so crisp but the textured plastic diffuses them.
i like the c.d case better than the vinyl, there is more density in the artwork..
