Notes: Lovely. I particularly like the library card and the command that “this book is to be hidden.” My only criticism, as with the mum book, is that I’m puzzled by the choice of glossy paper stock for the image pages. Something thinner, matt and textured would have registered the passing of time more pleasingly and would have been more appropriate for this imaginative project.
Love this packaging, but the album was basically dead on arrival for me. Shame really…
I still enjoy flipping through this book every now and again. My only problem with it though was that there was no disc in it! I’ve asked everyone I know who bought it – even asked around the Radiohead board – if their disc was missing. It seems I got the only faulty one.
I did not receive the CD either!
I’ve been wishing I had one of these for months despite already owning the album! :)
