If you like K&D you’ll probably like Nightmares on Wax. You need to hear SubMachena too. SubMachena is a Caribbean-styled dub project, with sweet beats. It features Rawle Bruce and Robin Taylor-Firth. Robin is also the keyboard player/programmer/songwriter with Nightmares on Wax.

SubMachena make big dirty dubs, with massive basslines and evil beats. Light up a fat one and go stomp.

I’m trying to find anywhere the printing (picture) with the field of sunflowers that is within the album (SUPERB ALBUM) KD SESSION by K&D.
have u got a jpeg or similar in high resolution possibly?i’d like to have a poster in my room with that.

That this album is loved by many and stands as a benchmark in electronic music goes without saying , and I also have my very own , and very much treasured copy .
Your project seems to reflect the japanese sense of “sabi” in it’s nature , a belief that an
object acquires it’s own individual personality as it ages and is therefor appreciated as being unique , even if , as is the case with your subject , it was initially mass-produced .

I’m Dr.Frequency from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
A colleague from work asked me if I’ve ever heard something from Kruder & Dorfmeister, and I said that no. He recommend me to try to listen online a few samples.

As soon as I heard those samples, I knew I would love to have the CD. So I bought it in the U.S.

I’d like to tell you that I can’t stop listening those Tunes on the go, in the car, when walking, biking…

I think that would be great if I ever have the opportunity to listen this Album on a Hi-Fi or High End Audio equipment.

Summarizing: Great Album. Highly recommended if you’d like to hear Trip Hop, Downtempo, Drum&Bass and Dub.

I Really hope someday to have Kruder & Dorfmeister visiting our country on a Tour Date.

Sadly, by the time I bought this at a library sale, the poster/booklet was long gone… They’re playing the Roundhouse sometime later this year – fancy going?
