Notes: This is a wonderful piece of design, all weathering and texture. The outer front cover offers only pitted indentations. The inside cover reveals the residue of numerous anonymous movements, the dots and pits a morse code of unknown configuration.
This is really quite lovely, I’ll have to look into this.
I hope that anyone interested bought this already as only 2000 copies were available worldwide [with 500 allotted for the 4AD online store] with 4AD vowing that it would never be re-pressed.
I always wonder about limited editions and why they’re made that way – is it ever anything other than an attempt to increase sales?
