| Notes | What a pleasure to be contacted by Ricks Ang again. His label was last featured on Hard Format almost three years ago. Kitchen. Label is a Singapore-based record label and publishing house.
As I hope is self-evident from the photographs above, the design of each album is absolutely exquisite. There’s something distinctly haunted about the imagery for these two releases that suits the delicate, breathy atmospheres of the music, redolent as it is of distant voices heard from stairwells, humid afternoons and autumn evenings. Each one of the label’s recent releases is presented in a different format, whether it be a book, card envelope with inserts or something less easily described. I recommend purchasing every one from their online webshop. I’ll be featuring Kitchen. Label’s other releases in the near future. |
