Notes Dear Hard Format readers I hope you’ve had an enjoyable and relaxing break in your part of the world and that you will have a happy and fulfilling 2013. We start the new year as we mean to continue with another lovely design. Here’s what Atay and Gözde have to say about this release:

As a matter of fact, this was the album which let us to continue the small press called Wounded Wolf. It was started a few years ago by Atay İlgün and now is continuing with him and Gözde Omay with the influence of The Hogweed And The Aderyn which is focusing on folk and textural music.

For us the package is somehow a home for the music when it can inhabit during a transit which is between we and the buyer as gift and support exchange.

It is made out of completely post consumer recycled and recyclable material, even the label on the CDR is recycled and is coherent with the rest of the package as it is made out of recycled paper. All booklets were hand-sewed and we used silk screen print for the outside patterns of the box. We believe this is caused by the nature of the music and the important fragment of the ideology of Wounded Wolf Press.

The photographs in it are taken from a trip around Europe and to us they are the elements of warm in this home. Their dainty, is full of memory (almost excessively self-indulgent) values add a very humane side to a package which will really adorne.

The phial (which is included in the ritualistic edition) was created to capture the essence of the gardens where most of the music was written. It is mainlycomposed of  juniper, blue spruce needles ( and essential oil, rain water and soil). We personally think that this particular scent is quite essential to maintain the memory through to its essence.
