May I suggest doing a post on the Galaxie 500 box set (designed by the band’s bassist Naomi Yang)? It’s rather beautiful. Also, maybe some more Julian House stuff (his work for Broadcast/Stereolab/Primal Scream, etc).

On these pieces Comunicom has reinterpreted, using modern rules, the classic style of old jazz covers, where shadowy chromatic and typographic elegance established the standard for a generation and became a vital influence, not only to the jazz world, but to the entire graphic design community. Today, these classic covers still amaze us in their modernity and timelessness. Our work is not designed to simply replicate this tradition, or even to create a revolutionary proposal, but rather to evolve these original concepts with a respect to innovation.

I’d like to suggest a couple of works of a female thereminist called Dorit Chrysler, they’re both very interesting and particular, packaging was made in Austria by D + Wien
music too it’s really interesting and fascinating as the charming player.
