Just briefly glancing through the BubblesWerk I notice that you show the adulterated Blockhead logo, with the rule border, I think the original is a solid black square with the type white on black according to Barnologists RandM, and sundry postings in various places. 'Course I could be wrong, many are.

I've just seen John Coulthart's blog about this and he makes a convincing argument: http://www.johncoulthart.com/feuilleton/2009/03/03/who-designed-vertigo-6360-620/
I am still cautious but, as ever, fascinated by BB's ability to stimulate and engage.

Hi
Nice post and thanks for mentioning my book. It might interest you to know I am digging deeper into Barney Bubbles' rich design seam on my new blog at http://barneybubbles.com/blog. There were at least 150 images we didn't use in the book (which contains 600 images anyway). I'm also carrying out new interviews and have been given a whole load of fresh material dating from his art school days onward. The story continues online and into the next edition.
BTW: BB almost certainly did not create the Autobahn symbol sleeve artwork.
